Kind Consultancy is working with a well-established, innovative Bank which is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to join them in a permanent, full-time role paying up to £55,000. The position is based in their Nottingham offices and has a flexible working model. Key responsibilities of the Compliance Manager will include: - Working closely with the second line function to deliver on the regulatory requirements of the bank, ensuring that all mandatory legal and regulatory changes are effectively implemented - Working closely with the Data Protection Officer and second-line functions to ensure that processing of data is compliant with GDPR/DPA 2018 - Leading and chairing the Bank's Compliance forum in line with governance, developing quality documentation to assess their compliance against key regulations; - Being a key stakeholder in the implementation and embedding of Consumer Duty regulations; - Providing advice and guidance relating to compliance matters to the business, including key contact for the complaints and claims team ; - Co-ordinating the maintenance of the Conduct Risk Dashboard, ensuring that the business has appropriate KRI measures in place to assess exposure to conduct risk and compliance to regulations; - Ensuring the proper and timely reporting of identified incidents related to compliance and monitoring of progress; - Assisting the business in evaluating or investigating and in causal analysis of specific compliance issues, breaches or Business Incidents as required Our ideal candidate for the Compliance Manager opportunity: - Has proven expertise of applicable FCA rule books, including but not limited to CONC, SYSC, PRIN, DISP and also working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act laws - Has past experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for regulatory compliance at a senior level within a retail lending/consumer finance environment - Has demonstrable data protection and compliance advisory experience - Is IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Word - Understands how to control risk and appropriate monitoring systems - Has recent experience of work within the Compliance function of a regulated UK Financial Services business - Has previously developed and implemented Risk and Compliance frameworks If you're interested in the Compliance Manager opportunity and you have the skills, knowledge and experience we're looking for, please apply with an updated CV today.

Kind Consultancy is working with a fast-growing motor finance firm which is currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join them in a full-time, permanent role paying £45,000 - £50,000. This is a hybrid role, requiring fortnightly travel to their Manchester office and occasional travel to Oxford. The Compliance Officer will identify and advise on compliance risks whilst developing controls within the regulatory framework, with key responsibilities including: - Managing regulatory change into the business - Providing advisory support to business areas to help embed a compliance culture - Training and sharing knowledge with colleagues - Internally promoting organisational compliance - Creating reports for internal governance committees. - Assisting with strategic projects and regulatory change initiatives - Embedding the Compliance framework by drafting new policies and providing policy-related training - Actively promoting a customer-centric culture Our ideal candidate for the Compliance Officer opportunity: - Has 3+ years previous experience of working in a Compliance, Risk or Audit capacity within Financial Services in the UK - Has a working understanding of FCA PRINI and Sourcebooks – CONC, DISP, SUP and SYSC - and an awareness of the Consumer Credit Act and Hire Purchase Agreements - Has experience of supply chains involving broker networks - Has excellent communication and listening skills, both verbal and written, and consistently strong attention to detail - Holding an ICA Diploma in Compliance would be desirable, as would having knowledge of Data Protection, GDRP and Motor Finance, and past experience of policy writing If you're interested in the Compliance Officer opportunity and you have the skills and experience we're looking for, please apply with an updated CV today.

This is a permanent role that will be predominantly remote requiring ad-hoc travel to offices in the West Midlands, the South West and the North East, with a competitive annual salary and an excellent benefits package. The Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for providing strategic direction to, and management of, the Risk & Compliance Function and on-going management of the firm's risk and compliance profile, including operational, conduct, compliance, business and strategic risks.
